Silent Night, Deadly Night Reboot in the Works

Anchor Bay has announced plans to remake the 80's santa-killer slasher Silent Night, Deadly Night this week, as horror fans around the country let out a heavy sigh of frustration.


Apparently this new film will be called just Silent Night, and will focus more on the police department's efforts to stop the holiday killer rather than on the actual killings.

Although I do try to have hope when it comes to reboots or prequels, I have a feeling this will just end up being dumb in the same way that the Black Christmas remake was. Only time will tell how this one goes.
